What the Interviewer Will Expect

Tips on Getting Ready

- Research the Product: Understand the company’s value proposition before you walk in. Be ready to explain why you think their customers choose them over others.
- Prepare a Case Study: Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to describe a specific deal where you saved a "lost" account or expanded a small lead into a large contract.
- Practice Your Discovery Questions: Have a list of 3–5 powerful questions you would ask a prospect to find their "pain points."
- Dress for the Client: An AE often represents the face of the company to executives. Dress in a way that shows you can command a boardroom.
